How it works: eight steps, one independent business.

Understand how it works before introducing your company: business review comes first, and any proposed work order requires its own decision. This guide follows the independent service partner pathway from an initial interest request through completion and invoicing.

From business review to completed work order

1. Apply as a business

Submit the Service Partner application with your service capabilities, coverage area, insurance, licenses, and business experience. This process is independent from Go Werks Pro employee recruiting.

2. Complete qualification

Go Werks Pro evaluates fit for the requested service category and market. Qualification may include document verification, references, a capability interview, sample-work review, or a practical demonstration. Approval can be limited by service, geography, license class, insurance level, or project complexity.

3. Sign the commercial agreement

Approved businesses review an independent Service Partner agreement. The agreement should confirm non-exclusivity, independent control of lawful work methods, responsibility for taxes and business expenses, confidentiality, insurance, licensing, customer protections, and dispute terms. Signing the agreement does not guarantee work.

4. Review an opportunity

When customer demand matches a partner’s approved capabilities, Go Werks Pro may present a work order describing the property, requested outcome, scope, timing constraints, documentation, and proposed price. The partner evaluates the opportunity using its own business judgment.

5. Accept, decline, or clarify

The partner is free to accept or decline without a promise of future volume. If the scope is incomplete, the partner should request clarification or propose a change. Pricing is mutually agreed for that work order before acceptance; there is no standing earnings guarantee.

6. Plan and perform independently

After acceptance, the partner selects its lawful methods, assigns qualified personnel, supplies required tools and equipment, and manages the work. Go Werks Pro communicates outcome, customer-care, property-protection, access, safety, and documentation requirements. Regulated work requires the correct credentials and permits.

7. Document completion

The partner records agreed milestones, exceptions, photos or customer sign-off as required by the work order. Damage, hazards, access problems, change conditions, and additional-scope requests should be reported promptly rather than handled outside the approved work order.

8. Invoice and close

The partner invoices according to the agreement and accepted work order. Payment terms, required documentation, deductions authorized by contract, and dispute procedures should be stated in writing. Future opportunities remain optional and depend on customer demand, fit, quality history, and availability.

What does not change

The partner remains a separate business, may advertise and work for others, carries its own operating risk, and receives no employee benefits. Go Werks Pro does not guarantee hours, assignment frequency, revenue, profit, or recovery of the partner’s expenses.

How it works in a scope conversation

Use the eight steps above to separate an introduction from an actual commitment. Before accepting, compare the requested result with your business capabilities, travel requirements and available team. Ask who supplies materials, how access is arranged, which completion records are required and how changes will be approved. Keep those answers with the proposed work order so both parties can review the same expectations.

Independent partners retain their own business names, logos and appropriate workwear. Customer-care standards describe the agreed experience and result; each company remains responsible for managing its qualified people and lawful working methods.

Where CREW and EXCHANGE fit

WERKS CREW is WHO: the independent businesses and professionals. WERKS EXCHANGE is WORK: the opportunity-review pathway. The Exchange examples are illustrations, not a promise that a particular job, price or match is available.

Prepare your next conversation

Read the customer-care standards, gather the items in partner resources, and review the partner FAQ. For general business planning, see the U.S. Small Business Administration business-management guide. Actual service availability and commercial terms must be confirmed for each proposed scope.

How it works: partner questions

How does opportunity acceptance work?

Review the proposed scope, location, timing, price and responsibilities. Your independent business can accept, decline or request clarification before a work order is agreed.

How does the process protect business independence?

The partner manages its lawful methods, personnel, tools and operating decisions. It can serve other customers and retains its own identity and appropriate workwear.

How does qualification relate to available work?

Qualification is a separate review of business fit. It does not guarantee assignments, a territory or income. Each later opportunity depends on demand and requires its own review.
